Just when I thought I’d never come back to this project, I end up spending three days making the mane and tail, and a fuckload of tweaks. He looks a lot less like a donkey now! I simplified his mane and tail just a bit, for easier animation (I hope).

This doesn’t have textures, I just threw coloured materials on, so that’s why the rust tips on his mane and tail are missing. I kind of like the flat coloured look, but I’d also like to see if I can use a normal map to get some texture on him.

Before textures though, I’ve gotta rig it all up. I’ve never done a face rig before so that’ll be a new experience for me.
