i went there with prost. we both agreed that the french quarter was the best. it was all neat like...cobble stone streets and pretty, old french buildings from back in the day. but one wrong turn you're in scary lowclass housing districts with absolutely nothing else. WE DID TAKE A REALLY COOL VAMPIRE-THEMED TOUR IN THE FRENCH QUARTER :OO

YAH. picked up a hurricane katrina memoir book by Time magazine in some shop. if i remember correctly, bourbon street (famous street with all the bars) is right near the fancy French Quarter and it got the least amount of water. it was gorgeous, man.
