to run it open toolkit 3 / tool kit 3
open the project "the queen must grow"
click the upper green play arrow to play it

Advance a day (and get mass) by pressing/holding the D key.

After you breed a 100 000 forager ants the next type of ant will unlock. Get enough of these and have when all grow the queen big enough and then next bits will unlock. As she gets bigger she can breed up to 10 000 at once. About half the actions in this game involve starting to the big blobby ant, the other half comes from talking to someone you will see soon.
I think this bit might be a bit slow. Or maybe I just need a few more dialogue breadcrumbs to lead the player down it.
Pressing r will refresh the screen you can new guys can turn up.
Pressing b will bring up stats of the queen and all here many minions.
All the those things only gather for the queen and her bigness when no other dialogue is running.

Try running as administrator I image windows is all "I don't know that this file is, I'm a scared WAA WAA WAA WAA". You could also try running in various compatibility modes.

Walk around with arrow keys. Used space or enter to talk to the big queen to breed more ants. S saves. 7 brings up the menu (to loads saves and custom save) B shows stats. R reset the broad to load new characters. Soon you can talk the brain ant research tech and assign the brains to do new things to make the queen grow.

I'm mostly glad that somebody got to the squid. How did you like the defeat cut scene.
I think that that problem is somewhere between the toolkit engine and windows, and thus way beyond my ability to solve. Instead I've edited it to auto win they new updates files should be In link at the top. Also you now advance time by holding the D button.
