Something from yesterday night! Again some studies and experiments! This time paws! Full pads!
It is a good start I think. I hope. Again ;3 Just like the hands.
OK, there was literal no reference at all that showed paws like I wanted them to look like. I wanted a hybrid. Something full padded while it still looks quite interesting for every kind of paw lover.
So I came up with the idea to at first trace some RL references and while doing so morph them to what I need.
This was done in order to even have a ref at all where I can learn from and find ways to draw it faster and as I need it.

Than I started to test out a few different ways how to presketch paws/feet in general from several different tutorials and even some own ideas, but at the end I did not settle with one as all of them somehow work. The ones above the pink frames horizontal top line at the white background were made as second. All of them are made up poses except one or two, but I don't remember anymore, but there was nothing traced.
At the end I did the ones to the right of the pink field in the white background: I wanted to show a bit of the process for me to remember later on and also add some colors and quick shades to see how it would look like and if it still looks okay with colors.
I have no idea how they would look like on the full body and if I still need to tweek proportions or shape later on but so far I am okay with how it looks like.

Oh I would like to draw bird stuff too! That would be interesting - a lot. But right now I am kinda a bit on my way to sync my style with one single char to not make it too different and harmonic at the end. Stuff I aim to draw a lot. I think I can do further different paws and species with the new style later on when I finally settled with something and got a bit or real practice, not just studies and testing out.
