As you don't know, because I was lazy and forgot to write a journal before I left, I've been on a family holiday in France for the past two weeks.
I was already suffering Internet withdrawal symptoms on the first day we arrived and out of boredom and me basically not being able to stand heat, I drew this whilst I was sat around the pool.
This was the last picture that I managed to successfully colour before every single one of my greys died on me.
The pool was actually referenced from the pool at the villa we were staying in. However, this still does not excuse me from my poor grasp of backgrounds and perspectives, both of which I know are 'out'.
I've changed Rio slightly from her original design, I've made her a little more simplified. Neo is also sporting brand new red hair. I myself finally bleached my hair up from black (after 3 years of it) and although it's not quite that vibrant yet, I hope it will be soon.
So yeah this was intended to look like a holiday snap shot of sorts, though whose taking it I don't know (:

There isn't many about but I do think they're growing in popularity. I loseley dub Rio as a Jackal Orca but I really need to sit down and do some research in to aquatic breeds (: she's probably more designed around a tiger shark and she does have a little otter in there too for good measure (:
