What started as a simple sketch of one of the character I made for my Eclipse of Elyssia setting ended up becoming a rather more detailed and dynamic looking sketch (and I am rather fond of how it turned out). Royal Flush, a Vault Stable Keep Security officer thrust into the great wide post-apocalyptic world, seems to be locked in a stand-off with some unseen and unfriendly individuals.

Yeah, I've had a bit of fun with it. And yes, holding a shield with magic grasp frees up both arms to properly hold a rifle. Might not be the best idea for melee, though, since a magic grasp is not quite as solid as holding the shield properly; an opponent could just grab it and pull it away.
