Had these guys in the back of my head since highschool. Parasaurolophus is lead singer for the band & adequate basist, Kentrosaurus is drummer, there's a ankylosaur guitarist. Kentrosaurus is gay & has a thing for the lead singer, but the lead singer is very wrapped up in being macho/performative amsculinity, shuts him down & tells him to stay closeted but eases up later & says kentrosaur can at least come out once their famous & signed for record deal bc his main concern is the perception of the band. They move from being a garage band struggling between being ska or grunge to being a pop-punk/hair-metal/glam sort of thing & do hit it big. Kentrosaur comes out & it actually nets them a lot of fans. Parasaurolophus feels undermined by that & when they get signed for a record deal he asks for another basist so he can concentrate on singing. Basist turns out to be a big, burly Alosaur who swoops into a relationship with the Kentrosaur behind the scenes/backstage. Things start to get interesting when the Parasaurolophus starts to admit to himself that he might not be feeling undermined, but instead territorial...

I dunno, it's the only furry adult-oriented novel I want to write. Maybe one day when I'm more financially secure. Or maybe a patreon with chapter releases? Who knows how pay structures will work once I actually get up the courage to write it.
