During a Saturday lunch rush, nothing seemed out of the ordinary as patrons flooded into a popular restaurant run by three brothers.
“The floor’s gettin’ pretty packed out there, huh?” Shadow asked as his brother Klondike stepped into the kitchen.
“Yeah, customers keep piling in! Delson said there’s only a few empty tables left and he mentioned something about going on lunch break soon...I didn’t know we had a lunch break.”
“It’s alright, it's your first day but you'll see how we do things here soon. I think you're gonna enjoy your lunch break.” Shadow licked his lips as his stomach rumbled loudly. “I’m so hungry… Let Delson know we can let in one or two customers before we start eating.” The husky finished garnishing a plate and handed the dish to Klondike to take to a customer. “Okay?”
“You got it!” Klondike took the dish and brought it out into the main room of the restaurant. After delivering it to a table, he padded over to a wooden podium at the front to speak to the host, Delson. “Yo, Shadow wanted me to tell you to let in a couple more people before we go on our lunch break.”
“It’s about time.” Delson scoffed, patting his empty belly with his paw before he lowered his voice to a whisper. “I’ll lock up when we’re ready to go.”
“Lock up? What do you mean by that?”
Delson winked. “Wait and see.”
Klondike nodded his head before he went off to serve another customer.
Delson only had to wait a few minutes before a family of chinchillas approached the restaurant. They thanked the husky when he held the door open for them.
“Wow, this place is pretty full this afternoon, huh?” The father chuckled as Delson showed them to a table in the corner.
“You’re right, it’s stuffed to the gills today!” Delson smirked. He gave the family a stack of menus and a short bow before he went back to his podium, rubbing his growling stomach with both paws. “And soon, so will we…”
Delson stood near the front doors and pretended to wipe a smudge off the glass while locking the door using a key that was hidden in his left sleeve. As a final touch, he taped a sign to the entrance that read “Closed for lunch break - see you at dinner!” to deter other customers. When all was ready, he looked across the restaurant in time to see his brother Shadow stepping out from the kitchen.
Shadow walked over to a few tables and asked whether everyone was enjoying the food. As he did so, he kept an eye on Delson, who was walking around the restaurant singling out his first prey, and Klondike, who was watching his brothers and waiting for them to show him how it was done.
Shadow leaned over a table of rats and spoke to one of the adults. “Do you need a water refill, sir?”
“Oh, no thank you-” When the rat looked up from his soup, he found himself gazing into the dark maw of the husky. Everyone at the table gasped and leapt back as the husky grabbed their family member.
Shadow grasped the rodent so he couldn’t escape and shoved him into his maw, swallowing him down with relative ease and following the bulge down his throat with his paw. With the rat inside, his stomach grew a size yet barely stretched the seams of his uniform. The husky merely looked as if he had just finished a rather large meal of actual food instead of an alive and wriggling creature.
A wave of panic swept through the restaurant as customers turned to each other and pointed at Shadow. When the brothers began to advance, everyone dropped their forks and knives and bolted for the exit, bleating and barking in panic when they discovered the doors were locked.
“Alright Klondike, now’s your chance!” Delson told his brother as he raced after the retreating crowd of people.
Klondike watched in awe as his brother lifted up a full grown horse and swallowed her whole. She became a writhing mass in his now bulging belly, yet he stumbled forward to catch another patron to swallow. He was soon joined by Shadow, who went after a group of slow moving animals.
Eager to join in on the fun, Klondike headed to the middle of the room, where he had witnessed a couple animals run and hide under the tables when the feast began. He padded quietly around each table until he spotted a scaly tail poking out from beneath a heavy table cloth. He crept up to the table, grabbed the tail in both paws and swiftly pulled a frightened lizard out from under it. Following his brother's examples, he opened his mouth wide and pushed the lizard in head first.
When the lizard began to struggle, Klondike gripped him tighter and began to swallow, surprised at the ease in which the creature started to slip down his throat. Hey, this is fun… the husky thought as he quickly gulped his prey down. The large bulge in his gullet felt a little uncomfortable going down, but the sensation was rather enjoyable when the lizard squeezed into his belly. Klondike’s stomach grew steadily until the lizard’s long tail slipped down his throat and his distended belly hung out beneath the button down shirt now stretched tight across his chest. He let out a burp and sighed as he patted his stomach.
At that moment, Delson waddled up to his brother, sporting a belly three times as big and presumably just as full. “Now you’re getting the hang of it!” He grinned, gesturing to his brother’s stomach.
“Yeah, looks like it,” Klondike chuckled. He frowned suddenly when he felt the lizard thrashing around in his belly. “Nothing happens to them…r-right?”
Delson gave him a reassuring smile. “Nothing at all! We fill up on customers for a while then let them out of our jaws when we’ve had our fun. Virtually no harm done, and they can come back next Saturday for lunch again!”
Klondike furrowed his brow. “They come here just for this? Just to get eaten and then spit up after a while?”
“Some of them, yes.”
“But they all seem so scared!”
“They play the part well. Of course, not all of them are expecting it. The newcomers who have no idea they’re about to get swallowed are the most fun to catch and eat - they run the fastest and struggle the most so it keeps the experience fresh for us!”
“Oh, gotcha! Whatever it is...I really enjoy it so far.” Klondike snickered as he stroked his belly with both paws.
“That’s the spirit!” Delson grinned. “Now c’mon, let’s go eat some more customers! There’s still a bunch of em trying to get out the front door!”
“Alright!” Klondike waddled over to the front of the restaurant and joined him in catching and eating whoever they could grab. When their bellies grew large enough, Delson and Shadow showed Klondike how to trap other people under his stomach so that he could eat them, a trick they had learned after so many months working in their restaurant. And so the three brothers gorged themselves on every customer they could find, catch, and fit down their greedy gullets.

A flurry of colorful feathers and fur settled to the carpet as the three very full husky brothers sat down on the ground for a rest. Each sat with his legs spread apart to leave room for bulging bellies full of many squirming prey. All were panting like feral dogs and letting out the occasional burp or sigh of contentment as they rubbed their stomachs.
Klondike had attempted to sit down in one of the chairs, but it had collapsed under his weight in mere seconds. Admitting defeat, he sat down with his brothers and examined the button down shirt he wore, which now barely fit him and had risen up to expose all of his stomach.
Shadow watched him, grinning. “So, whaddya think about officially joining the new family business?”
“Oh for sure! As long as I work on Saturdays!”
