Known for their good luck praytails typically bring good luck or news to people. Typically one could buy one in a pet store to give as a gift to someone to surprise someone with great news or if they wish for companionship! However these are no ordinary kitties, being magical creatures they swap between their cat-like form to a more humanoid one. Depending on their nature they either help out with their partner's tasks, act like a child, or even rebel and try to be independent all their own. However praytail quickly imprints on the person who spends the most time around them, even rebellious natured ones will lend a helping hand if their partner is in trouble.


All together Praytails are a living breathing beings. They can live in society in any style they want, be it on their own or living with human counterparts. They can be adopted, put up for adoption, left, or found like any other normal creature. When a person buys a praytail its more of an adoption of one who has been abandoned. If their parents never socialized and grew up with humans at all they would probably keep the normal mindset of a wildcat, not realizing their natural shape-shifting abilities or luck. These are just small guides I put in place for my species in case anyone wanted more to build off of! If this conflicts with characters, stories, or roleplays then please do not feel at all pressured to follow these guides.

F a c e s
Praytails have the ability to morph and change their forms between that of a feral cat all the way to a ‘nekomimi’ form. That being said it is a personal choice if they have cat noses or humanoid ones.

B e l l s

Bells all come in different shapes and sizes, these bells are a source of comfort for these kitties as well as a trinket used to keep their magic in check. Removing the bells from them makes them nervous.

T a i l s
Tails come in a variety of sizes and shapes but are typically categorized into three types.

Normal - A typical length and fluffiness
Bob - A short and fluffy tail
Silky - A long and luxuriously furred tail.

E a r s
Ears come in a range of three types as well!

Tall - These are tall and pointed ears.
Fold - This style folds over and onto the head.
Petite - These mini ears are a little more sensitive but that's it!
