I noticed that some people in the comments seemed to be confused as to how the fenorrhe work in my
character's lore. So I decided to put together this handy infographic. More detailed stuff will be down here.

PUREBLOOD

Born to two fenorrhe parents. These parents can be a combination of: Pure blood + pure blood
Halfling + Pure blood or Halfing + halfing.

A pureblood Fenorrhe is born in their fenorrhe form, gaining access to their human form slightly later in life
than halfings gain access to their fenorrhe form. They gain this form between the ages of 18 and 24

Purebloods activate the transitional gene by concentrating on the form they wish to take at any given time.


HALFLING

One fen parent either pure or half blood and one pure blood human.

A halfling is born in their human form

halflings gain their fenorrhe forms a little sooner than pure bloods (between the ages of 16-23 years old)


WERE-FEN

Originally a pure blood human

These were-fen were infected with a rogue virus created by a scientist who wished to be more like his fenorre wife.
The transitional gene was modified into virus form for easy injection, however this modification removed crucial code
that prevented the transitional gene from activating whenever it felt like it.

Were-fen transform randomly, this can be controlled with medication but they will still transform once a month randomly like classic werewolves.

Certain were-fen cannot handle the animal DNA coursing through them and take on much more animalistic and violent personas while in their forced fen form. These aggressive outbursts can be controlled with medication.

The virus is transmitted through blood contact, but can be controlled with vaccinations.
