Can you walk on the water with I, you and I?
"Because your blood's running cold." said the familiar, true to life
Can you walk on the water with I, you and I?
Or keep your eyes on the road and live there familiar, without you and I

There's a few portions of that show which felt a bit uncomfortable to watch but overall I found it very interesting. I'm hoping they do a second season.
I had drawn the parallel to the environment in my mind, only just now realized which character your piece is referencing too. He'd be my first choice too for fanart.

Oh my god, this reminds me of a story one of my best friends once told me. She hopped a freight train from a rail station somewhere in the mid east traveling west. She had plenty of snacks and water with her, but somewhere in Oklahoma the train began to slow down and eventually stopped miles and miles from civilization. The conductor along with a couple engineers walked the length of the train and found her and kicked her off. They told her "heh sorry we have to kick you off but we got some complaints there was somebody swinging their legs out of a box car." Which was BS because she was inside of car, nobody could even see her. They also said "You're only a couple miles walk from a town...heh" But she was literally in the middle of nowhere. So with the sun was going down and she started walking in the direction the train left her. It got dark, and still no lights, no town, no service, no nothing. Then the next day, with only half a bottle of water left, she walked practically the entire day without so much as a road crossing. Finally she found a rail road terminal box, so she took a picture of it and made it the back ground of her phone, just so they would knew where to look for her. And she left her back pack there because it was too heavy to carry. She figured she'd just walk till she couldn't walk anymore and the next morning, she stumbled into a road, and with in a few minutes of waiting a park ranger happened to drive past and picked her up. He said she was lucky to be alive and he almost never gets out this way. She told me it was the closes she's ever been to thinking she was gonna die. Absolutely nuts. I'm really happy your image sparked that memory. I got in touch with my friend, she's still nuts and living life to the fullest.
So, random, but growing up I had a great-uncle who was born in 1904 and lived on the border between Massachusetts and New Hampshire, not far from power lines like these. Every time we would cross them, he would say "You could follow those all the way to Labrador." For some reason, it always sounded like a great adventure to me.
At forty with a bum ankle I know I'll never actually do it, but this picture brought back some memories. So thanks.

Fun fact: you take a T12 florescent bulb and stand under high tension lines like that at night, the EM field around those lines will make that bulb light up if you Earth one end.
Kenket: About the upcoming Denver con, I hope that's still on. I've heard nothing back from the convention committee so far, making me fear this new organization is not so organized after all.

Sometimes a hydro electric transmission corridor can be used for urban or commuter rail transit purposes, one could have an Adtranz Hong Kong MTR Airport Express train flying past the character in this drawing, perhaps he would be in such a solemn mood that he would take no notice.
