Back in 2002, Michelle Light was the Artist Guest of Honor at Technicon, the local Science Fiction/Fantasy convention in Blacksburg, VA. She was a wonderful guest, and if you ever have the chance to meet her, do go up and say hi. Anyway, she hosted a panel on how to draw like Michelle Light. I was the only guy attending the panel, but it was fun.
The upshot was that I briefly attempted to draw furry heads in her style, or at least, starting from her style. I made six pictures in total before I lost interest. This is the picture I drew at her panel. I think it's a feline of some sort.

Wow... Michele Light is one of my favorite artists; I wish I could've been at one of her panels...
Anyways, I can definitely see her style in this; you definitely weren't far off... and I can see how it could be a panther, cougar, or even a cheetah depending on how it was colored... you did good! I love her style...
