i know right?! i got excited seeing her too! though i think puck and ransom are already on their way back to the mainland. i vaguely remember mention near the begining of luther deliberately hanging behind to distract the lizards while the civilian ships got away

Are they still in the catharza nation? The infrastructure in the background looks too well established for it not to be the mainland. In the books it was described as grimy and always thick with fog and rain. Here it is very beautiful and sunny. Sorry, it's totally been awhile since the comic was regularly updating so I'm a little rusty on where it's at.

Reading back, seems like they left the colony with the drakes - so this must be where OtBP's last book left off where Puck and Random left on the main fleet with the colonists while Luther, Shivah, Reed and co. drew them away. I suppose they're now on the hyena's nation (who as we've seen have an alliance in secret with the drakes) and are hoping to get out with the hope of their home nation. Explains the nice buildings and infrastructure while they're still trying to get back to their mainlands!

Yep, though seeing as Luthers shoulder wound has already healed this is pretty certainly a few weeks after the ending of OTBP. After all he got that wound at the end of the last chapter before the ships left the Dark Continent.

Ransom and Puck are on their way home. Shiva and Co. are in Hyena-land. (Sorry, I can't remember the name of the nation.)

I don't know why, but the thing I responded to first wasn't the cameos from Shivah or Ariel, it was just seeing Luther and Grayson standing side by side and getting to see the difference in their heights. ;)

Did someone notice Luther and Greysom changed places during this and the last page?... I chuckled.

Huh, so they did. Good eye.

They didn’t change places, but we changed perspective. In the new page we are looking down the pier towards the harbor, while in the previous page we are looking off to the right of the pier just aft or forward of one of the ships with Greighson and Luther talking about their drinking game. In the new page one of them started walking (I assume Luther) and Greighson had to get around him and to Luther’s right (left to our perspective) in the frame walking to the end of the pier while talking.

I beg to disagree based on how they are stationed previously. It is Obvious from the angle that Luther came up from Greysom his right side. On the newest page however this is reversed. Especially if you look at the way their eyes are, it is logical to assume.

This is the best visual I can give you with the finite recorces I have, I= Island, W= Water, L= Luther, G= Greighson, P= Pier. I’m using a Cartesian grid based off the POV of the last panel on the previous page for both explanations. Panel 3 of the current page is being used as reference for the current page but the grid is the same as before, just the locations of the characters has changed.

If this confuses you get graph paper, draw a 7x7 square, (you only need quadrant one) and translate each letter to a corosponding color of your choice.

You just assumed Luther started walking and Grayson had to get around (which had to happen "off-panel", otherwise you wouldn't have to assume) , how is that different from changing place?
