Im sure we've all got that one friend or are that one friend that always has a sunny disposition and is always looking on the bright side of things. No matter how bad something seems they've always got something good to say about it. When shit gets real they're one of the first to offer their shoulder for you lean on and the chest you cry against when things seem overwhelming. They'll stop what they're doing to just to listen to you vent even if they have no advice to give in return, and they might even offer some tough love now and again when you're being overly dramatic.

But when their job is done and you turn your back to them is when things start to fall apart. When wounds they hid from you become obvious and the mask they hid behind starts to crack and chip away, because, for the moment, they no longer need it. Left to themselves they can be one of the saddest people you'd ever know, if you only knew how they felt; the feelings that they keep inside, because they dont have time to confess them to anyone. Dont have time to find a shoulder to lean on or a chest to cry against because who would take the time to listen to their petty problems anyway? You'll have to excuse them though. They've got another friend that needs someone to listen to them. Their own feelings will have to wait.

Piece that I got from Halybs during one of my more down times. She was really excited to be able to do such an intimate piece for me, intimate meaning something so personal. I think she did a fantastic job on it.
