iiiiits Juju !! I’ve had been slowly working on this guy for a while and I think I’m finally pretty settled on their design? I basically made it as ambiguous as possible and it can be drawn in a bunch of different ways! Lot's of extra info abt this bird below!
(forgive me i dont write too often any more and the wording and stuff on this might be weird to read lmao)
Juju is a Ghost that kind of takes on the shape of a crow, though it has many forms. It’s able to discard and replace body parts and flesh with an ethereal, green flame that has strange and unexplainable properties. The flames have mass and have varying temperatures that vary from cold as ice to the hottest flame imaginable.
The Crow also has a few other abilities and things it’s capable of, once it’s in its wisp form. It can latch itself onto a biological host and alter its physical form to its pleasing and manipulate creatures how it sees fit. Despite having this dark and dangerous power, though, Juju is mainly a benevolent being, and typically only bonds to something when its own physical form has been destroyed and it needs time to repair itself.
Juju’s body and flesh is held together by magic and made up of whatever refuse it can find when it has the opportunity to rebuild itself. The materials used are biological and must have, at once point or another, have come from something living. This can be anything from plant matter, carrion, a hamburger, etc. Because the make-up of its body often varies from build to build, its appearance changes often. The final result will always have a large crow skull and look at least somewhat bird-like.
The Ghost, while visually one entity, is actually the everlasting memory of am entire flock of crows. The bird acts and preforms as one consciousness in most cases, but under stressors and other things it undergoes miniature splits and bickers with itself until whatever issue is resolved and it is able to return to its preferred near-singularity.
