And so we're off on the thirty-first adventure of Westersloe Winterbough, Fifth of His Name, and magick-user in the service of the High King of Albric Tor and Emperor of Faerie.
As our last adventure ended, with the happy wedding and accession of William X of Vulpes-Vulpes and his new bride, Benita, we know of another royal wedding in the offing. One that may be a little less happy for all concerned. And considering one of the parties involved is Anastasia Rosebush-Aspen, Sovereign Princess of Licksburg, it's quite unhappy for WW5, you can be sure. It may even put a dent in the relentless high spirits of Dannel "Lucky" Bark, Jr., of Wolfess Butte...

Sound policy in not saying all that much to the Crown Prince. Of course, if WW5'd simply answered in monosyllables, that would've pissed him (the Crown Prince) off even more (which is something I'd do in fact).
Of course the reason as to why the Crown Prince wants him in on the occasion is something I'm curious about.

The models I have in mind are actually Charles Durning's portrayal of the governor in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and the unnamed oilman in the Bugs Bunny cartoon Oily Hare. Note the name of the driver in each.

(a) an extra-wide body;
(b) no apparent roof;
(c.) no less than six enormous ants pulling it, gronking away busily;
(d) a colour scheme that featured an eye-watering shade of bright yellow prominently;
(e) an enormous longhorn beetle head attached to the front of the coach -- a head that I hoped was sculpted and not a memento mori;
(f) a jackrabbit driver in full livery;
(g) a metal plate fixed to the front of the coach which read "BIG BUX";
(h) a baglute attached that was hooting and groaning a particular melody, to the extent a melody can be coaxed from such an instrument; and last, but by no means least
(i) a familiar-looking roebuck in the ant-coach, waving a gigantic hat at me, and bellowing out a greeting that would have raised an echo in a prairie.
For some odd reason, this vehicular description puts me in mind of Boss Hogg's Cadillac(?) from The Dukes of Hazzard. Colour scheme is not quite right but the rest is close from memory... a dim dark memory of bad 80s TV.

I did not, in fact, have Boss Hogg's car in mind when I wrote this, but I knew very quickly what you were referring to, and readily see your point.

I dunno. The Dukes of Hazzard is an artifact of its time (you'd never see a car with the ANV flag on it today), and nobody would mistake it for Playhouse 90, but it was good, stupid fun.
Czervik's car (see below) here:

I didn't recall this car; it's been a long time since I've seen Caddyshack, and it didn't leave a memory in me, though Bark probably would like the colour. And certainly, the number-plate is of a piece with Bark's.
