Di got to visit the desert often with her parents during various outings to archaeological digs, consultation and restoration projects of various sites before or after a Virtual Warfare match had taken place. She would often wander off to say hi to tank crews and climb on the tanks while teams were still in the process of setting up or packing up. She loved climbing onto and riding around in the large metal monsters, especially when the teams would practice fire the heavy guns. It made her ears hurt, but she loved the sound of cannon fire and watching shells smash into dummy targets and send red pellets flying in all directions to indicate a direct hit.
She still a desert girl, and as such has plenty of light baggy clothes for dealing with extreme high temperatures. Nothing to mention her natural affinity for heat now that she has become a fennec fox.
