HOLY SHIT this took a long time coming. Sorry about that guys! i'm getting back into the writing mood and it may or may not have been due to the fact that chu streamed tonight XD. Anyway, this story is for 
AaronFox88, who requested their character get ready for the day ahead, and maybe wear that collar they bought a month or so ago.
You know the drill by this point.
The sun rose slowly over the horizon, it's light bringing warmth to all it touched. The light touched the grass, the trees, the apartment, and the young fox named Aaron sleeping inside of the apartment. Aaron rolled around noisily as he awoke, getting one limb out of the bed at a time. After a stretch and a shower, Aaron got ready for the day.
“What a lovely sleep I had. Made me nice and ready for the day ahead!” Aaron mindlessly talked to himself while he prepared his breakfast, going over the plans he had for the day. “I'll need to head to the market soon, I'm running out of milk and bacon....Oh, there's gonna be an event in the park today, gotta go see that! Hmm, I think some of my friends are gonna be free for a night on the town tonight also....” Aaron trailed off, jumping into his thoughts as he finished his breakfast and headed to the closet to get dressed. Nothing extreme, just a comfortable deep blue shirt and some khaki shorts, though there was one extra thing that jumped out....
Aaron recently bought a collar to wear on the weekends, but he's been nervous to try it out for over a month. Today, he told himself, would be the day he finally tried it on. He didn't buy it because it was tied to any of his...”interests”, he just bought it because he thought it looked cute. Aaron reached out to grab it, but he pulled his hand back before he could even touch it. “No...it would be too embarrassing....No. I promised myself I would wear it today, and I'm gonna wear it today!” With newfound resolve and honestly his hand reacting before his brain could, Aaron reached back out to the collar and grabbed it, and before he could even think about stopping and putting the collar back, he fastened it tight with a “click!” on his neck.
Aaron opened his eyes. He couldn't believe it. He actually went through and put the collar on! Aaron rushed to the mirror to check out how the collar looked around his neck. It actually complimented his outfit, and it made his neck fur pop out at the bottom. Aaron blushed heavily at his own reflection, and a slight smile formed. He loved how it looked! With a slight skip in his step, Aaron went to the door and opened it excitedly. He was really gonna enjoy today.....
