So for my birthday I bought some aftermarket wheels for my Subaru. I now got a chance to install them and... dang it looks and feels like a different car now!! On the drive home, the car already felt both more responsive turning and more compliant with the bumps.

It's the first of a growing list of mods I'd like to do including an asymmetric racing stripe, black out the chrome and silver trim, switch out the halogen bulbs with LEDs, switch out the textured plastic panels with real carbonfiber, maybe install some strut tower braces for a slightly more rigid feel, maybe install a lighter exhaust to bring out more tone from the boxer, and maybe install some skid plates to make the bottom more aerodynamic and protected on rough roads.

On a related note, I have a set of gently used 16in factory wheels for a Subaru Impreza if anyone is interested.
