Please help Moogle, a homeless cat who desperately needs life saving eye surgery to remove his right eye. It is badly infected and without care he may die or the deficiency of his immune system will eventually lead to his death. I am trying very hard to get him off the streets but it is difficult with limited funds.

When you start a ChipIn, you set the event name, the amount of money needed, and a date for the ChipIn to end. You also set the Paypal address.
When the date on the ChipIn is reached, the ChipIn closes and ALL the money is automatically sent to the PayPal address listed. My artist friend sets up one every month labeled 'RENT', and it's the only way he can afford to keep teaching in Japan.

Not that I've seen, but it depends entirely on the cause and how promoted it is. You can't just browse ChipIns, which seems kind of silly to me, you have to see a link and click to it.
In other words- you won't get money for a ChipIn unless you push the hell out of it.

fellow cat lover here....i'll try and donate when i can, i recently rescued a kitten from a friends brothers neglect. my friend called me up one night a couple weeks ago and said his brother has been leaving this 2 month old kitten in the garage when he goes out for hours to days probly out doing or selling drugs and would leave the food in his bedroom, well my friend came home and found the kitten meowing and hungry, called me up while his brother was out (came home 2 days later) and said bring your carrier. so went over, jeff was in his room hiding from his dad and waiting for the right moment to sneak the kitten out and put him in the carrier, went to have coffee and get some kitten chow. little guy was hungry :( well shadow is now a healthy playful kitten who in a few months is going to get neutered..so i know how you feel about moogle and i'll help as much as i can, i've faved and will try and spread the word and chip in when i can, good luck :)

but, at least for ours, Kitty is much happier, energetic, and feeling a lot better after his own lifesaving eye-surgery. best of luck with Moogle.
our vet also pointed us toward a company called Care-Credit... it's a credit card for medical bills, and they let you use it on pets too. -but like any credit card, they gouge you if you miss a payment.
o_O you raised $600.00 D= Lucky Moogle, we were only able to raise $20.00 for Gizmo XD but he was worth breaking the bank for. money is something you can get back, good friends and kitties are not.
