Luke continues to scold Volcan for his rash actions as he treats the Blaziken's wounds. Volcan starts admitting to Luke that he's got a lot on his shoulders, and is unsure that he'll be able to bear such a burden. He reveals to Luke that he's utterly terrified of failing everyone in their upcoming mission...which evidently strikes a chord with Luke as he listens to Volcan's words.
