Luke goes on to pour his heart out more to Volcan, saying how happy he was to have him living under his roof; how he felt less lonely while he was in his care. Volcan promises Luke that he'll always be around for him, and dares the God of all pokemon himself to try and tear them apart.

Hearing this, Luke becomes so overjoyed that he kisses Volcan repeatedly, proclaiming his love to him over again before demanding that Volcan kisses him again like he means it.
