So, one night I couldn't sleep. While that in itself is not entirely strange, I felt the need for release. Wandering out of my house at three in the morning, I began walking, and soon enough found myself standing on the beach. Without a second thought, I stripped down and jumped in the water. It was quiet, life stopped, and it was just me and the ocean.
When I was done, I sat on a cliff by the water thinking, and eventually picked up my stuff and went home. The streets were devoid of cars, so I walked in the center, laughing to myself about nothing in particular and spinning around as a light rain drizzled down. I got a call on my cell from mom, wondering where I'd gone off to, and not 2 minutes later was in my door.
Half-asleep, I pulled out some notepad paper and a Crayola marker and jotted this down out of nowhere.
Most surreal night of my life.

First, props for writing a sonet.
Second, massive props for using iambic pentameter, cause thats like, crazy awesome
Third, super massive props for writing surrealist, I love it so much
As for the poem itself, I love the line about sand, more than anything that line struck home with me but overall this poem was amazing.
