may I sk something? is the handle there on top or to the side of the gun? I can't quite figure out if it's one or the other.
At any rate, I find the armor to be quite well designed. not as bulky as most armor I've seen, and honestly it seems to be quite manueverable if compared to the Terran armor. (not sure on my WH40K terminology, mind you.) You could call for some "Master Cheif" reference, but I doubt it means much since the armor is quite different in shape and design anyway. good work.

Yes, it is less bulky and more manueverable than human armors, though that is mostly due to the fact that their armoring technology is about 2000 years ahead of ours...
I'll agree on the Master Chief reference for the shoulders and arms, but I didn't really intend on doing it that, aparently just turned out ^^

Keeping things anatomically correct and functional is ever so hard...it kinda works out after a while though ^^

yeah, if you can do it for a human, you can apply the same design principals to the other joints in an anthro form. ^^ also, i like the fact that this armor is for a female ^^

Nah, the problem with the anthro thing is mainly the legs...I can't apply the same type of bending tech on digitigrade legs...wouldn't work

well, you could, you'd just have to remeber that the leg has a reverse knee below the real knee, and the foot has a smaller area for the sole ^^ it's like those people that make the anthro leg stilts, basically, it's an extension of the foot making an extra joint. XD i hope that makes sense XD

Well yeah...but if you have a look at the armor, I had to leave out some protective plating around the ankle...while with I human I could simply extend the legshield to the foot and leave it in free swing, I can't do that here, cuz it would drastically limit mobility

i think you could though, you'd just have to make the shielding to slide out of the way while the ankyle moved, y'know, like "floating" armor panels that move and slive on a track?

hehehe,i studied alot of different armors and suits. ^^actually,a good reference would be tolookat robot suits made for film, like for BicentennialMan with Robin williams. the suit they built had some sealed joints that are interesting. also,Iron Man armor too. ;)

the hovering weapons wuld be kick ass too ^^

actually, you have an excellent start here with this suit, just add some panels that slide and move as the being inside walks and you can close those open parts up really well ^^

I am trying to design tech armor for my species right now so I have been looking for any pictures I can find as a source of techniques and inspiration. Yours is the best so far and an instant favorite. I find it funny that my search for armor has lead me here because I have always been drawn to Si'itians. I see, or at least want to believe I am seeing a lot of similarities between your race and the one I am trying to create. The Si'itian are very interesting to me and I would like to learn more about them and the process though which you created them. Can I send you a more detailed PM some time in the future?
