well with the publicity hes getting and them promoting the taste of the food he can make that grand back in sales in no time xD

Unless that two grand he gives to those girls in priize money runs him 100% bankrupt. I doubt anyone has cleared his challange ever before, and always gives-up and making him more money by forcing them to pay for the huge amount of food he got them to eat in the contest.

$2000 Bankrupting a restaurant? I mean if it's brand new mabey but, word travels fast. If these girls beat the challenge there will be others who will try and fail the challenge. Even then new restaurants usually do well the first few months to break even.

Well, KIWI would get $2000. The rest will get $1000 each, as the challenge wasn't for the table, but per person.

Depends on how much profit he makes before bills come due, he might go red a bit. In the end though, is this brings in enough publicity he could go back to black within a month or two. While this doesn't seem like that high quality of a place, he seems to be the only employee so any money can come out of his savings, if he is the owner of the place.
