This dog has been hanging out around my parents' house. They won't take care of him, and I only have a tiny apartment that would not fit him.

He is very sweet, fairly timid, but once you gain his trust he will lay up against you and ask for his tummy rubbed. He has not been neutered. The only obvious physical problem is an area on the back of his neck (apparently where he rubbed against a too-tight collar too much) where he has rubbed the fur off and is now scabbed up. It is mostly healed though, since it is not sensitive to the touch.

I have already gotten a little interest in him, but no commitments, and I really want to find him a home because the shelter down here is a kill shelter. I live in the southern WV area and would be willing to travel at least a little (within my means) to get him to a GOOD home.
