This is Thick Liz, an idea for a story I had that I'll probably never get around to do so I wanna explain this fatter version of my character now. For the longest time Liz was my guinea pig in which I tried different styles and looks on, a little while back I realized I didn't use her as much as I used to in favor of drawing Silvia more, so in that time, in the background somewhere Liz put on some weight and it went to all the right places.

The story would play out with her realizing this and becoming incredibly dissatisfied with her life choices (up to that point since she is in her 20's), falling to depression, mood swings, binge eating and so on and so forth, then one day Silvia of all people decides to lend a hand to help her get her life together,she then takes her to the one person she knows can help, her mother. Liz and Silvia visit her folks' home to seek guidance from Silvia's mom, in a comedic moment her mother gathers all these things together to put on a show parading as a fortune teller which they all play along with much to Liz's resentment, Silvia's mother then comes to the conclusion in her crystal ball (fish bowl) that Liz... needs.... a man.

Dumbfounded and reluctant to hear such a thing Silvia then agrees and then they explain that her body has taken the shape it has to attract a man to satisfy all her urges, to love and cherish her. Liz's experience with guys is very lacking since the only guy she has ever been with, sexually was with Scott. After both graduating high school they decided to have some drinks and in the dumb, drunken phase that Liz was in she broke down in front of Scott in which they both shared a cry and decided to have sex with one another as a way to comfort each other as friends, Scott was the more level headed one at the time to use protection, he didn't drink as hard as Liz did. After coming to this realization Liz then pressed forward to find a man, she would then go out with a bunch of different guys all of which not being able to fit any of her preferences in which she believes all hope is lost until she meets one guy....

I'll leave it there but I want to tell this story because I see so many artists that draw pornographic material have such huge followings but they abuse their gifts, their talents and just continue to draw smut that doesn't challenge or intrigue, I'm not bashing anyone for those choices because they've gained tremendous success and I only have respect for them but it just pains me to see the same thing with no variation or thought of a story or something unique and fresh, I see many artists draw the same thing and then they whine about not improving or lacking in a certain area and I think it's due to fatigue, they refuse to draw new stuff because they fear abandonment which to that I say if they won't support your future works then you'd be better off without them, I say it all the time with these artists, try something new, draw something you've never drawn before or take up a new medium, never let a style define you or your work, Bill Watterson was famous for Calvin and Hobbs, a simple yet beautifully drawn comic strip and his water color works and paintings are just as amazing, so try new things, break the mold and give it a shot.
