Yesterday I was finally asked to make my pick of a littler of 11 Alaskan Malamute puppies. Here's my pick! She 4 weeks old in this shot, taken last week (she was born on July 9th). Come early September, I'm going to pick her up and bring her home. And, yes, I have named her Kiyona! Ain't she cuuuuuute?
She's joining the family with another baby girl Malamute for my BF that he's naming Takara, but I don't have pics of her, yet. The breeder for Takara is old-fashioned and *gasp!* doesn't even have a computer!
Yay for new life! I can't wait until she's home.

Yeah, she is. I've already had the pleasure of rasing two other Giant Alaskan Malamutes. One of them passed away last year, but I still have the other. But now I'm gonna haveta do it all again. Hopefully my older monsterdog will do a good job playing mommy (or granny).
They're going to require lots of undivided attention. A lot of hard work ahead for me. But I wouldn't trade it for anything.
