So when Monet goes with Leo and Don to save Mikey she has a moment....it hurts her heart to see how much he had suffered. It hurts a lot...because as she holds him....she gets reminded of how her parents died when she was little....it's like she has lost another loved one...she doesn't know how to handle it....not again...not after her parents...so when they get back to the lair. She hugs him like she never will see him again.

But Mikey does get his sight back :D :D yay
