Aw, looks kinda like my Joe. But Joe is like.. white and beige colored. And his eyes are all, so dark red they look black. He's a fatty mcfatass now :p

Oh cool another pet rat owner and its cool that you draw them too. ^_^
I has 2 pets rats one is my sister and one is mine, i called mine rascal and she called hers buttons.
They are both boys and 2 months old cas i got them like a week ago or so. Mine is black and white, he has a black covered head with black splotches down his back and white for the rest of his body and my sisters is black with a white stripe down his belly.
And i'm still trying to get a camera to take pictures of them cas they are both really cute if you'd be interested in seeing them.

And yea... i dunno why i told you that i just thought it was cool to meet someone that has pet rats too and likes em enough to draw them as well. i should really try drawing mine but im kinda worried ill stuff up there feet and paws cas they seem kinda hard to do and such and i just totally hate not getting things to look like i want them too but oh well.

I spent all of today helping my one friend find the perfect pet rats for him, and he has them now, a cinnamon colored one and a blue (grey) one. We played with them all afternoon, they are so cute!

I would love to see pics of your ratties! One of them sounds like a rat I'm working with who has some social issues, poor thing. He's a dumbo-ear with a white body, black head and black spots all down his back, but he can't STAND being picked up. He squeaks and whines very loudly, and sometimes he just flips over on his back to get you to leave him alone. He likes me more than anyone else, for some reason, so I'm trying to give him some love therapy. x3

Ahh, i wasn't so lucky. I didn't have any help finding mine i just had to search the web and stuff looking to find anywhere that sells them. I was really shocked when we went down to the local pet store that rats weren't allowed to be sold in pet stores in my local district which really sucked because the pets stores that were -allowed- to sell them were miles away and when we rang them they didn't have any anyway. So then i was all mopey cas i lost all hope in finding any and then my dad came home from going to the pet shop one day and told me he got a number of a guy that bred them so of course we rang him and he had lots so we went down 4 days after and checked em out. He had alot of white ones, about 23 or so but only about 4 different colored ones which was a real let down but i wasn't complaining. There were 2 that had ultra light brown patches on them that you could barely see and then the other 2 that we decided to get because they were the best, lol.

So yea long story short i had to go through a hell of alot to get them, alot more then i was hoping but i got em now and there fun and playful and really friendly. They don't enjoy being picked up much but there are fine with it and luckily they don't squeak and whine likes your does, they just go with it. X3

They do hate water tho, and i'm not talking about a small hate I'm talking about a "omfg save me this is awful, I'm gonna DIE" hate, its really retarded cas they pee on each other and all i wanna do is wash him and he grips onto my arm and wont let go... oh well, hopefully he gets over it. XD

Hmm...there are at least five places near me that sell rats...I've never had a problem finding any -- but he was looking for specific colors, so we ran around to every pet store I knew of, and finally found what he wanted at the last pet store we found (which I didn't know about, we actually found it using his iPhone). x3

I don't know if you have any PetSmart stores near you, but they always have fancy rats. :D If you are ever looking for rats in the future, you can try there (if there are any where you live!)

I don't have any IMs except the one I use at work. D: I'm going to get either an AIM or MSN sometime soon though, when I get un-lazy. x3

Aww, well don't forget to PM or message me when you get your IM's up and running. I don't know many people i can talk to about rats cas like ya know... everyone hates em and such and thinks there gross which is a damn shame cas they aren't but there's not alot anyone can do about that, its just how they have been viewed over the years and such. =/

And if it helps back up why i couldn't find a rat, and which i should have mentioned before, is that i live in Australia, WA, so yea. X3
