Mt. Glacier is the tallest mountain on planet Primale, situated in the cold north.
At the mountain's base lies Ice Floe Lake, with Ice Cube Town being the closest settlement.
Mt. Glacier is largely composed of ice. Due to its slippery nature and being often plagued by extreme blizzards, no-one has ever successfully scaled the mountain from the outside.
The interior is a complex labyrinthine network of icy tunnels. Narrow walkways are the only means of crossing over the deep chasms within. The slightest tremor can make the countless fragile icicles come crashing down.
People know of the dangers of the mountain, and not many dare to be even near the mountain. The inaccessible nature of the mountain has given birth to many legends. Some believe the very top has a weakness in the fabric of reality, and has a dimensional rift that lead to the Infernal Realm.
Others speak of a demonic creature trapped in ice that should never be awakened, deep within the mountain.
However, most people use those tales as an excuse to keep children away from such a dangerous place.
The truth isn't that far, however. The Infernal beast Vilunis Malaris makes his nest here.
As Vilunis' claws are about the only things capable of physically harming a god, he once tried to go up against the gods, but was defeated and frozen within Mt. Glacier until one of Mephistopheles' fragments (Wrath) reawakened and freed him.
He was eventually fought on Mt. Glacier's peak, where he ended up falling on top of one of the surrounding icicles, piercing his chest and freeing the fragment of Wrath.
He was thought to be dead, but some Navaronians recovered his dying body and modified his body with cybernetic components and weapons, saving him.
The peak is a flat podium surrounded by numerous icicles.
Part of the podium is raised into the highest part of the mountain, which has an entrance leading back inside. Vilunis likes to roost on this highest peak.
Three pillars functioning as cover from Vilunis' attacks stand parallel to each other on the flat surface.
Mt. Glacier is inspired by The Glacial Peak.
