Thanks, about the (for me is blue) shine, it's not supposed to be something cx
I like to add a shiny with different colour from the iris to make it catch the attention ^^

Oh, I think you can get the same or better result and stay "realistic" with just adding a white camera flash in the eyes or some fake reflections. Just a subjective opinion. :P

And I do that sometmes, but like artistic freedom exists and sometimes one likes to experiment.. xp
unless this is too bad looking that I need to edit it, which I can do of course

Personally it's actually distracting for me since my brain thinks it's a mistake because it has no reason for being there. ^^
Maybe it's just me, I don't know. Maybe for some stylistic choices you could make a comparison pic and ask the community what they think about it.
