I asked you guys what sort of tutorials you'd like me to do, and this was one of the suggestions. Its specifically for wolf tails though, so if you're trying to draw tiger tails or anything else, it won't help you much. lol
As always, some of the information comes from references on the net, while much of it is stuff I've known for years. Hopefully you budding artists are helped a bit by this. =)
If you left a suggestion in my journal, fear not - they will ALL get done eventually. I'm doing these as a side project along with my commissions, so they will pop up in my gallery randomly.

a great help, I'd say. not everything can be derived from looking at photos alone. :)
I think this could be useful for any tails, since the essentails are the same, aside fluff and expressions. it is useful to avoid tails growing out of the animal's butt cheek at least. :)
