Nice to know I still have some auditory powers in my old age. When I was young, we had a spinet piano that was constantly going out of tune. At that time, I had almost perfect pitch, and whenever it went out of tune, I'd refuse to practice because I couldn't stand the way it sounded. Needless to say, my parent's couldn't tell the difference.
