Yep, this is it. Glad that you like the shading, it was kind of fun to do, I am glad that it came out as well as it did.

Ranshiin's character is from an anime series called Legendz tale of the Dragon Kings. The series was never released outside of Japan as far as I know, there is a fan based group that is subbing it and releasing it one episode at a time. Though it is posted on Youtube and Veoh.

Ah, okay... how about more on your original characters for any future pics? I think that is where you really shine You're not so constrained by other people's visions of how a character should look.

I'm actually going to try to do some pieces on my gator/human chars since I haven't done anything with them for a while, just need to figure out what to do.

How about something with both? Not talking about anything adult, just bringing them together?

They pretty much are a couple, so for the most part I'll always draw them together, in fact the story that I'm trying to write is specifically over them and how they meet and what happens to them after.
I'm just trying to figure out a good scene to draw them in, kind of coming up blank at the moment though.

Hmm, when I've been commissioning pics from the stuff I've written, I've always chosen scenes which I enjoyed writing about, or were particularly emotional in one way or another. Perhaps re-read over what you've written and something will jump out at you? Don't berate yourself, there's nothing wrong with that picture? It's a very touching scene.
