Acrathia: *A dark, but oddly genuine smile on her face* Oh I like this! This is how it should be done. Grant them hope, but not absloution until the lesson is learned. It is through their suffering that true strength and character can be forged. *appears almost in ecstasy* This is one of the things I live for.
Acrathia: *smirks and shrugs* What can I say, she reminds me of a younger version of myself. Bitter, manipulative, playing games with people's minds, hearts, and forms..... Ok so I am still all of those things, but I am more tempered than I was, and perhaps that is exactly what our little lunar butterfly needs *gives a distant but dark smile* just a little guidance.
Acrathia: *leans back* I never said you weren't. It's just nice to see the false courtesy, and superfluous frolicking fall away and catch a glimpse of the true passion underneath. I have always considered it the best quality of those who are of the Seelie court, and I have never understood for the life of me why you hide it so
Azura: *sighing and fixing her hair* You want the ugly truth. I suppose there is some virtue in that, if it is a little morbid. Appearances are everything among members of the High Seelie Court. The more you frolic and seem happy-go-lucky, the more power you are trusted with because you do not give yourself to darker emotions. They are there, just caged.
Acrathia: *laughs to herself darkly* Did you know dearest Lady Azura that the are actually quite a few instances where I have worked with the Seelie court with situations that were often too...gritty for their delicate sensibilities? And every time I have posed the same question to them, they responded with some condescending remark about how a wretched unseelie witch could never possibility understand the sophisticated nuances of the Seelie court. You just now after ages and ages of working with the Seelie court gave me a sincere answer. *laughs more and shakes her head* This extended time you have spent in the darker areas of the Sidhe may have been the best damn thing that has ever happened to you
Azura: *shakes her head with a pursed smile* That sounds very like them. Had you asked me your question a century or two ago, I have no doubt that I would have answered in kind. However much I despise it, hunting a member of the Unseelie Court requires thinking like a member of the Unseelie Court. It is not something that leaves one's sensibilities unchanged. That, and keeping the company of an agonizingly moral poodle. He has an obnoxious habit of tearing down facades.
Acrathia: well my dear, I feel as though I have bothered you enough for one day. Though I am most certain we will meet again, I shall leave you with some vague advice. Take it from one who has played the role of villain more times than she can count, that villains are rarely if ever born, they are almost always made. *Vanishes into black and indigo mist* (Also this post was not meant to be passive aggressive, I just really wanted Acrathia to say this to Azura)
Azura: I do. I was there to watch him mature, and his story is noting short of endearing. *she watches as Acrathia vanishes with her lips drawn in a thin line and haughtily mutters* We will speak more of this when I next see you.
(No worries! ^w^ I had been wondering what Acrathia's trademark vague advice would be >w<)
