Me, a week ago on a journal: "Currently in the exam stress phase, so don't expect much from me the next weeks"
Surprise, I was lying.
Old OC I don't draw a whole lot got a small redesign, sharpened those shark angles and changed some patterns. It's nice to notice my own improvement by comparing the result to the references I used which were all made somewhen in 2016.

Oh I missed her! I'm so glad you're drawing her again, and she looks as elegant, yet properly shark! There are absolutely improvements over the past (still very awesome) beach shark piece she was in. She does look more like a real shark, and the scene overall is very polished. Question though: Is the toothy snarl at the back of her lips involuntary, like a quirk of their anthro-evolution? Or is that what you think their version of a smile would be? That show of teeth contrasts with her otherwise relaxed pose, but feels intentional. (I also could be reading tooo far into this, but your pieces always inspire that :) )
I am glad you like it! It's also surely the "definitive" version of what I wanted to do back here with the image you mentioned.
Also the snarl is supposed to be a slight smile!
