Character: Merida
Type of Zombies: Cursed Zombies
Family Tradition is very big in Merida’s history. Especially because the eldest of every generation on her mother’s side is cursed to face off against hordes of their undead ancestors for not paying their debts over a silly squabble and incurring the ire of a powerful witch. And if that wasn’t bad enough, it’s said that every hundred years or so; the fabled demon bear Mor'du is doomed to show up and wreak havoc with a maw the size of a grown man’s torso, and claws sharp enough to cleave flesh from bone.
Her father was a war veteran and didn’t believe in all this magic, but Merida’s mother Elinor knew best, and tried to train her daughter to be ready for when the time came. Merida hated the idea that this curse was just going to continue on, generation after generation. So she devised a plan and sought a different path. Much to her mother’s dismay, this would leave her town without the one who could put them down for the next twenty years. Virtually defenseless.
But Merida knew there was something else to this curse. It would just keep happening unless she did something to break the cycle. So the young redhead fought her way out beyond the town, and looked for the witch herself.
To mend the bond torn by pride.
