Power can be a burden. And Chris Jones knows that very, very well.

Originally the wielder of uncontrollable power that could shatter planets and threaten whole galaxies, the cosmic being had to suffer for several years, unable to make relationships or build a life anywhere, for, when he least expected, his insane levels of power would tear a whole in the fabric that divides universes and he would be expelled to another unfamiliar reality, where he would have to start from scratch. He had to endure over 60 universal jumps, never being able to truly create meaningful connections or relationships, until he finally landed in Colmaton. Fortunately, the Caretaker - the advanced crystal computer that was a gift from a very advanced race in one of the universes he visited and programmed to protect him at all costs - deduced that the only way to prevent further jumps and preserve his life was to alter his genetics and greatly suppress his powers.

He now only posses a tiny fraction of the energy he had before, but Chris Jones finally feels at peace. No longer having to worry about his powers going haywire, he can, after so many years, allow himself the opportunity to live...to make friends...and to Love. All because he does not have to worry about being thrown in another universe anymore.
