The mold for a 36 inch tail was generated by Fusion 360, sliced by Simplify3D, and fabricated in an in-house professional grade 3D printer.
The mold pieces were lightly sanded, caulked, and clipped together in less than 30 minutes.
This is the same rubber as used in the prototype, which is extremely strong but soft as an uncooked steak! MMmmm...
De-molding would have been straight-forward and easy if release agent had been used.
Even so, the end result is absolutely spectacular!
