True. He'd just have to be freed from his master's spell first. And as a plus, if he can learn how to master the shield's magics, he could figure out a way to change back and forth, and maybe change others, too. Magic can be interesting that way. He just has to explore its depths a little. And besides that, like I said before, dragons are among some of the most magical creatures to exist in mythical lore. In short, I love this idea, and I give you two thumbs way, way up!

True. Though I never said the shield was evil. I just said if he could learn to control its magics, it could prove quite a boon on his future adventures, assuming that it was an enchantment in the shield that turned him into a dragon, rather than meddling from the evil ruler of the castle.

Triumph over adversity through courage and dedication is a very heroic thing, especially when there's evil overlords out there trying to enslave you to their will and you're dealing with a body you're perhaps not quite comfortable in yet. You go, dragon hero. Let none deny your dreams.
