Ereviim Candygore
Edit! Much better doctor-work on the scan.
Some fun personal art from December! I don't really draw my monster sona, Ereviim, very often, since he's always in flux. A few months ago I started really figuring out where I wanted to take his design, though, and this was one of the drawings exercising that. I've been so much happier with him recently - just a little bit more and I think I'll be able to do more finished work with him!
Ereviim was created, rather than born, by combining several parts in a magical ritual. A few have called him a flesh golem, which he particularly likes. He's fully sapient and intelligent, but still more animal than man, especially if you get on his bad side. On the good side, though, he is loyal and protective almost to a fault... something that makes him a useful tool for another character, early in his story.
I wanted him to feel like a mix between a sphinx and a werewolf (werecat?), and I based his head and chest off of big cats - jaguars and lions, respectively.
Who knows why he has tusks. Probably for breaking open food containers. Also to frighten you.
