It's not pretty, it's not fast, it's not cramped with fancy hardware, but it works. ^^
The Ichneumon is a 30-ton light city fighter. At a top speed of 64 kph and a jump xcapacity of 120 meters, it can move through the city pretty fast (other 'Mechs might be faster, but their top speed is useless if they keep on crashing into obstacles which are rumored to be quite common in an urban environment, for example, buildings ). Armed with two large lasers, the 'Mech can fry most light 'Mechs and vehicles almost instantly, and six tons of armor provide a lot of protection for such a small unit.
Ok, it's not as charming as the UrbanMech, but I like it nevertheless. By the way, it's a good battlesuit hunter, too. ^_~

UrbanMech IIC - okay, yeah... a much more sleek, cute-looking trash-can.
Regular UrbanMech - ... um... a not-so-sleek-looking, clunky trash-can. *blecchh...
Also, heh-heh, you might've mentioned something about the double heatsinks before... heh-heh-heh, that will definitely makes things interesting for whatever opponent the Ichneumon faces. ;o)

Ah ok. ^^
That's quite common with my 'Mech designs. They are built for maximum efficiency for the lowest price possible (this bugger here costs 2.1 million C-Bills and has a Battle Value of 776, giving it a ratio of approx 2790. That is BETTER than the ratio of an LB 10-X autocannon!).

Wow...
I've been a MechWarrior fan for about that long... specifically, ever since the MW2:Mercs demo was released around '95 or '96. Shortly after that, Dad bought MW2 and MW2:GBL for me and my kid brother. Years later, I got MW4 for my birthday, and my interest in the BattleTech Universe had re-ignited... I soon acquired all the other Battletech-related PC games, including their expansion packs, and during that time I discovered where it all began... Classic Battletech...
The only CBT books/resources I have are TROs 3050 and 3055, the Warden Clans Field Manual, the Somerset Strikers resource book, and Mechwarrior: Third Edition. These were actually all bought within 2 or 3 years ago. I intend for my humble collection to grow, but that has really slowed down since none of my friends have even heard of Battletech... (a few have heard of Mechwarrior, but their general response to it was "meh").

TRO 3025, TRO 3026, TRO 3055, TRO 3075, TechManual, BattleSpace Rulebook, BattleSpace TRO 3057, AeroTech 2 (revised), MaximumTech, LosTech, CattleTech Master Rules (revised), and Mechwarrior 3rd edition. Tactical Operations is next, and probably Total Warfare. And I still glance at the Vehicle Annex.
Wow... you've got an impressive collection there...
I should ask, since I hope to expand my collection... did the newest editions of the books really ruin anything? I know some of the new re-issues of the TROs (3055 in particular) totally changed some of the BattleMechs' appearances. I've started looking for the latest versions which didn't contain the word "Classic" next to "BattleTech"; is that a smart idea?

I have the first edition of the TRO 3055 - and it's a bad joke imho. Lots of errors in the stats, and many 'Mechs looks ugly as hell. But that's nothing when compared to the illustrations of TRO 3058. They were the reason I never bought that book.
TRO 3060 was ok again, as was TRO 3067. But they somewhat lack the flair of my all-time fav, TRO 3025. The drawing style of the new books (including my newest TRO, 3075) is way too simplistic, somewhat like a manga: fat lines, lots of black, but the perspectives are well-chosen and provide a more dramatic scenery. Just google for "classic battletech 3075" and yu will see how the new style looks like. ^_~
