So for those of you who are fans of Star Wars, this is probably an unfamiliar species. The kushiban! These little guys are roughly housecat sized, sentient rabbit-cat things that are often mistaken as being pets and their force signature is usually so faint they don't register due to them naturally being fairly calm. Mood fur, so their fur color actually changes color based on emotions and they take advantage of this by ensuring they have certain emotions when they shed, like if they want a color associated with anger, they'd focus on being angry at something, even the tiniest things, while they shed their fur or get it brushed out, then they weave it into clothing and fabric. Some of the most expensive clothing in the galaxy is kushiban fur.
One was even a jedi, Master Ikrit who managed to hibernate for a few hundred years to skip past the great purge and was actually one of Yoda's students. If you don't believe me you can google it! He was in a set of novels and even sacrificed himself to save allies during the Vong War.
Sadly because they're now Legends content the species isn't considered canon...which is a shame because they're adorable.
So here we have my own Kushiban jedi, Rishan. Furball's a more pragmatic type, and in the tabletop game I play him in serves as more the team's battlefield leader, his class combination giving him bonuses to repairing their gear and upgrading it, allowing their blasters to deal stress damage even if they miss so they can get knocked out from supressive fire, or even boost the cover allies can get, all while wielding a modular blaster rifle that can be modified in dozens of different ways with various attachments and using his force powers to help. No lightsaber here! Instead he doesn't shun a technological advantage, from stealth fields, blasters, and even armor.
Unfortunately this was drawn months ago and I forget who did it, but if they want to remind me so I can give credit, they're free to.

For example: White as normal, black is mourning or extreme depression, grey when startled or surprised or otherwise stressed, dark red for aggressive and furious, light red for annoyed, and straight up pink for adoration or love, straight orange for curiosity with lighter orange for greed, yellow for almost obnoxiously happy with varying levels of an amber type color for excitement, light green if they're feeling adventurous or playful, while dark is jealousy so they can quite literally "turn green with envy". Dark blue is sadness while light is distracted or otherwise lost in thought, purple depending on shade can mean confusion or pride, while a rich brown color can indicate intense boredom or tiredness.
And they apparently can 'mix' colors depending on emotional state. So they might have blue with splotches of brown if they're bored with what's going on and are lost in their own thoughts as a result.
