No offense taken. :3 Though I don't understand what you mean by "simplicity", considering his wings... (of which I'm rather proud of, btw =D)

there is no body definition, no shading, no highlighting, no fingers or toes ect. thats what i meant by simplicity. its very effective to me. if this was more detailed, the character would loose its innocence. nice choice of colours to by the way
