Here we have him attempting to activate a holocron to gain knowledge of new force techniques, but it seems he was a little too eager trying to put the technique of being nourished by the Force! It's supposed to help in survival situations with lack of food or water, based on a handful of animals of the galaxy not needing to eat or drink since they draw all they need from it... Judging by a kushiban's color-changing mood-fur, his fur is probably a blurred mix of light purple for confusion, orange for curiosity, and perhaps a slight bit of pink for embarassment / love.
