As far as the similar aspects of the character with the fire wing and what-not, that was how the character was ref'ed. Now as far as the pose goes, I'm afraid you're just going to have to chalk any similarity up to coincedence. :) I actually didn't even ref the pose off of anything, I just thought 'dragon creature happily flying in the air'. I don't think it's that uncommon a concept actually. Ah well, it's bound to happen. Nice pic though. :)
