Come on, who doesn't think rats will survive into the nuclear irradiated future? At the same time as I was coming up with my Fallout 3 Kangaroo from earlier, he came up with a rat from the same vault, good o' 117.
Being a cyborg, he's better at using energy weapons and stuff. For some reason, cybernetics always meed having that weird 'Kano' style metal plate on your face, and also a metal ear and tail to go with it. Don't know why, just seemed right.
Anyways, so here he is, Rex, the plasma rifle-wielding rat Vault Dweller.

Heh. Cyborg rat. What will they think of next.
Looks good Salen. As usual, you have a fine attention to detail, even when it's a sketch. I will make the comment that cybernetics on the ear and tail are probably a bit to cosmetic to actually see done in a post apocalyptic society, but they make good art.

Yeah, you're probably right, but I think by the time I was halfway into the sketch, I was totally thinking 'Biker Mice From Mars', since they all had like cybernetics as well. Plus, I guess a robotic ear sounded decent. I figured a rat's probably going to be a bit less tough than some things out in the wilderness, so you know, rebuilt replacements sounded like a decent enough option.
