Daigo is Slade Morris' travel companion, and most trusted friend and confidant. They've been best friends since childhood.

Slade is always dragging Daigo all over the place, much to the rat's occasional dislike, as he'd rather (at times) just take a long vacation from adventuring, dangerous peril, and typically trap-filled tombs, crypts and dungeons.
