Description

Damina is Damian’s “soul sister”. Her soul is conjoined to Damian’s, sharing a physical body. Damian is currently unaware of her presence, though as a child, she was Damian’s “invisible friend”, a role she withdrew from as he grew up, and she came into the knowledge of her own origins and purpose.

Damina’s soul, though conjoined with Damian, is the progeny not of Damian’s parents, but of a being existing outside most mortals’ comprehension of reality. At Damian’s inception, this being instilled much of its power within the soul to hide it, and instilled some of its own personal essence to create Damina, to safeguard both the hidden power and its carrier. Lacking a defined physical form to draw from, Damina’s appearance was forged from Damian’s own, as well as what the parents believed to be a powerful entity, a dragon.

Since unlocking the power within Damian, Damina has found herself able to manifest physically, transforming Damian’s body into her own personal form, a form she takes only when Damian is unconscious, to maintain her secret. To her continued consternation, beyond that ability, she is unable to actually use the power she is meant to guard, only control its usage. As such, Damian has no idea just how much power he truly has, and Damina intends to keep it that way.


Personality

Cool, calm, and reserved, Damina is a woman almost always in control of herself, having a full understanding of the task she was created to perform, though knowing that she is also her own entity outside that responsibility. Keeping her presence a secret from Damian has had an effect on her, however, a sense of guilt that eats away at her. In her mind, just about everything she does, she does for Damian, even if she questions sometimes if she’s going about it the right way. Her sense of self has also come into question some with her excursions in the physical.
